APN is a curated, nomination-driven network. Membership is not open enrollment, it begins with a referral from a current member and a review by the Membership Committee.
The Governing Body
APN is governed by 9 Founding Members, each holding a distinct professional category and an equal vote in network governance. Founding Members set dues, ratify admissions, and are the custodians of APN’s standards and mission.
This tier is closed, founding cohort complete. Founding Membership is by invitation of the governing body only. If a founding seat were ever to open in the future, the governing body would manage that process directly.

Why We Keep It Small
APN is not an institution. It is a network. The distinction matters: an institution derives value from its programs and size. A network derives value from the caliber and trust of its members. This is why we keep it small, not to exclude, but to protect the integrity that makes membership worth having.
Every member brings a real referral relationship and passes a genuine committee review. The Membership Committee is the quality filter, with unlimited referral codes but a meaningful review process, curation rests on judgment, not quotas.
